About Us Next Fashion Design College, founded in 2004 by model and designer Sara Mohammed, is Ethiopia’s premier fashion institution. As a pioneer in the industry, our mission is to bridge the education gap in fashion, cultivating self-sustaining designers who elevate local culture and contribute to the economy. Our comprehensive curriculum covers fashion design, pattern making, sketching, and stitching, tailored to meet the needs of aspiring designers. Over the past 20 years, we’ve trained more than 4,000 students and proudly graduated over 5,800, earning recognition from Addis Ababa’s TVET Agency for our Level I to Level IV training programs. We proudly showcase Ethiopian heritage through international fashion events, blending tradition with modernity. Our students have participated in high-fashion shows across various countries, excelling in their craft and making a name for themselves in the global fashion scene. The college actively organizes and participates in international fashion platforms, promoting and finding markets for Ethiopian cultural clothing with modern designs.
