Next Fashion College

Next design college was established in the year 2004 by model and designer Sara Mohammed. The college had a mission of filling the gap of education in fashion designing in Ethiopia. Next fashion college as a pioneer in the industry, we are focused on creating self sustaining designers that will contribute to the country's economy and raise awareness of our traditional clothing locally and internationally. The college has created a curriculum that will serve the need of aspiring designers and provide them both basic and extensive training in the field of fashion design, pattern making, sketching and stitching. For the past thirteen years we have trained and educated young minds of our generation in fashion designing. The college has received recognition in level I up to Level IV training program from City Government of Addis Ababa Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Agency. Next Design College is one of the leading schools in the field of fashion and since its establishment we have trained and graduated over 2,000 regular and extension students in fashion designing. In addition to this, the college participates and organizes international fashion podium to advertise and find markets for Ethiopian cultural clothing with modern designs. The overall objective of the college for the past 13 years is to create self sustaining designers that will contribute to the country's economy and raise awareness of our traditional clothing locally and internationally.
